The unit has electro mechanical operation and features a rotary dial with easy to set tappets that activate switching at pre set times. I understand that the power comes from the consumer unit to the timer and that ill then take a lead from the timer to the boiler where ill copy the wiring already there. Insert one bare end of the pigtail into the neutral screw terminal on the switch and tighten the screw. I dont need to be able t heat water independently.
